Most carriers do not need every service on this page, and the right order matters. A new for-hire carrier usually needs a USDOT number, operating authority with a BOC-3, UCR, and then IRP and IFTA before the first interstate load. A private carrier might only need a USDOT number and Form 2290. If you tell us what you haul, where you run and what you already have, we will tell you which of these apply, in what order, and what each one costs before anything is filed.
Services not listed here, such as oversize or overweight trip permits, hazardous materials registration, company formation or insurance, may be available through us or through partners we work with. [Confirm which additional services Think and Thank offers directly.] Ask and we will give you a straight answer.
Think and Thank LLC is an independent, privately owned service provider. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation, the IRS or any state agency. Most registrations can be filed directly with the relevant agency at no service charge; we charge a fee for preparing, reviewing and submitting filings on your behalf and for ongoing support.
